Skymint is one of the largest cannabis retailers in the Midwest. But size and recognition aren’t always beneficial in the cannabis industry. Many customers prefer the lowkey neighborhood dispensary. The casual, comfortable dispensary. The we-know-you-on-a-first-name-basis dispensary.

Luckily, that’s the vibe when you step into a Skymint store — but the brand needed to catch up. We did a complete overhaul, repositioning every touchpoint with a more casual, welcoming tone. A new tagline brought the story to life.

“It’s nice up here” breaks corporate convention. At Skymint, the culture of cannabis feels more joyful. More delightful. More inviting. And maybe the best part — it’s a subtle nod to product effects, but not another generic weed pun.
Multi-channel outreach was critical. We connected with cannabis fans across the state through video spots, Spotify ads, OOH, and more. And we created a new product promotion campaign called the High Five.
